In our world where international communication skills are in increasing demand, a degree in foreign language is an asset in any field - business, medicine, social work, education, translation. Being proficient in a foreign language and knowledgeable about other cultures prepares you for many career opportunities.
Two tracks are available for students wishing to teach English as a second language.
- Major in Teaching
- English as a Second Language
- Teacher Licensure in English as a Second Language
A minor in teaching English as a second language is also available.
