Join a tradition of learning that dates back to 1823.

Union University provides academically rigorous instruction in 100 major programs of study. Union students enjoy impressive acceptance rates for graduate study at some of the world’s top schools. In fact, 100% of the faculty-recommended students were accepted for graduate study in health sciences. More than 80% of Union’s graduates are employed by June of their graduation year – many with Fortune 500 companies.

Union’s global outlook brings students to campus from every corner of the world. Opportunities for study in Europe, Asia, and Africa allow each student to pursue the best possible course of study while enjoying the advantages of a Union education. Learning at Union is not limited to formal academic programs. Students are active in community service projects, tutoring, and club activities. They participate in athletic competition with other universities, often at a championship level. A wide-ranging intramural sports program allows students to remain physically fit and provides a welcome break from studies. And Union is a short drive from some of America’s best-loved entertainment and recreation opportunities.

Entrance Requirements

Union uses a rolling admissions policy, which means applications are reviewed and admission decisions are made on a regular basis beginning each September. This means we continue filling a new class until there is no more space. For that reason, it’s very important that you apply as early as possible.

Students who are not U.S. citizens need to submit a $35 application fee and fill out the online application and accompanying forms which can be found below. Students also need to submit an official score report of at least 80 on the TOEFL, 6.5 on the IELTS, 22 on the ACT, or 1020 (combined critical reading and math) on the SAT. Official transcript evaluations are required in most cases.

When you are admitted to Union University, you will receive a form I-20. This form, your passport, financial records and proof of your ties to your home country must be presented to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your country along with a completed Student Visa application form. Apply early enough to have a student visa in hand before International Student Orientation and the official start of the semester.

Union University’s global outlook attracts students from every corner of the world. From Kenya to Malaysia and Brazil to Canada, students come to study under one of the finest teaching faculties to be found anywhere. The Union University community welcomes diversity and looks forward to assisting you in this transition to college life in the United States.
