Tuesday, November 4th, 2014 marks Union University's twelfth annual campus-wide service day. This is a time when faculty, staff, and students join together to give thanks to God for His protection over our campus during the 2002, 2003, and 2008 tornados.
The day begins at 8:30 am in the chapel for a special corporate worship service. Following the service, teams will depart from campus and scatter throughout the community of Jackson to serve among various local schools, organizations and churches.
To participate in a project on November 4th please view the projects below and complete the volunteer sign-up form by Monday, November 3rd. Only a limited number of volunteers are needed for each project, so make sure you sign up early. Please note that some projects are reserved for specific classes and/or organizations. If you have any questions, please contact Melanie Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Classes will be cancelled in order for students, faculty, and staff to serve together.
Please check with your professor if you are currently in a lab to see if your class will be held on this day. In addition, student teaching, graduate and evening classes will be held on November 4th.
