Union University Germantown brings Union's tradition of Christ-centered academic excellence to adult students in Memphis and the Mid-South region. Graduate degrees, undergraduate degree completion programs and professional development opportunities are designed with the schedules and needs of adult students in mind.

Union's graduate and adult studies students benefit from face-to-face teaching and mentoring from Union's excellent teaching faculty as well as the integration of online coursework.

Opened in 1997, Union University Germantown includes classrooms, meeting rooms, a library, nursing simulation stations, and more. The two-story facility and convenient parking are located on 14 acres in Germantown.

Stephen Olford Center

The Stephen Olford Center is an 18-acre education and retreat center in southeast Memphis. It features more than 40 hotel-style rooms for conference attendees, dining facilities, a patio, a swimming pool, a newly donated 32,000-volume library, classrooms, offices and a chapel.

Business Administration

Union University's MBA degree integrates relevant, top-tier academics with Christian faith in a way that effectively impacts business ethics and organizational decision-making.


Education

Nursing

Union's nursing graduates gain significant mentoring from the faculty in the classroom, clinical settings, on the mission field and a state-of-the art simulation environment.


Organizational Leadership

Adults with at least two years of college credit can complete their bachelor's degree in as little as 18 months with this specially designed degree program. Classes meet one night a week.


Social Work

In a context of Christian higher education, the program fosters compassionate service, promotes social and economic justice, and equips students for excellence in social work practice.


Theology and Missions

Rigorous academics, skill in teaching and attention to students as individuals are integrated with deep devotion to Christ and His Church and a commitment to reaching the nations with the Gospel.

Nov 18 – Nov 21 - Olford Center: Practical Preaching Workshop
  • 10:00 a.m., Olford Center, Chapel
  • This special and intensive workshop offers a small-group atmosphere designed to improve the teaching and preaching skills of the participant. In addition to instructional sessions dealing with important aspects of incarnational communication and delivery, the participants will gain practical experience in preaching a message and receiving constructive feedback and critique. Prior to the workshop, each participant will be required to submit one sermon manuscript. They will bring another message to preach during the workshop.
