SBC president to speak at Union

JACKSON, Tenn.Feb. 13, 2007 – Southern Baptist Convention President Frank Page will speak twice at Union University this week.

Page, pastor of First Baptist Church of Taylors, S.C., will preach in a chapel service Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.

He will also speak at 4 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Coburn Dining Room as the opening speaker for Union’s Baptist Identity Conference, which will run through Feb. 17.

Other speakers for the conference include Paige Patterson, president of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; Thom Rainer, president of LifeWay Christian Resources; Timothy George, dean of Beeson Divinity School; and David Dockery, president of Union University, among other speakers.
