JACKSON, Tenn.Oct. 19, 2009 – David Platt, senior pastor at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Ala., will be the featured speaker for this year’s Faith in Practice series at Union University Oct. 21-23.

Platt will preach in a chapel service at 10 a.m. each day in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel. The services are free and open to the public.

“David Platt is one of the truly outstanding communicators of the Word of God in this generation,” Union President David S. Dockery said. “We have had the privilege of having David on the Union campus several times in recent years. Each time has been a special experience for our students, staff and faculty and we are trusting that the Lord will once again use the ministry of David Platt for good in the life of the Union University community.”
