Metaxas to speak at Union March 18-19

JACKSON, Tenn.March 16, 2010 – New York Times bestselling author Eric Metaxas will be at Union University this week for two speaking engagements.

He will speak about “Witty Witnessing” and how he uses intelligent humor to share the gospel, March 18 at 7 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium. On March 19 at 10 a.m., Metaxas will speak in Union’s chapel service in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.

Metaxas is the author of such books as “Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery,” the “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About God” series and a forthcoming biography of Dietrich Bonhoeffer that will be released in April.

Both events are free and open to the public.
