‘The Visit’ runs March 8-13 at Union

The Union University Players will present "The Visit" March 8-13.

JACKSON, Tenn.Feb. 28, 2012 – The Union University Players will present “The Visit,” a tragic comedy by Friedrich Durrenmatt, from March 8-13 in the W.D. Powell Theatre on the Union campus.

Premiering in Switzerland in 1956, “The Visit” is the story of an old lady who returns home to exact merciless vengeance on her old flame.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night, with the exception of the performance on Sunday, March 11, which will begin at 2:30 p.m. In addition, a late show will be presented at 11:30 p.m. on March 9.

General admission tickets to the show are $7 and are available at the theater’s box office. Tickets for Union students, faculty and staff are $3.

Union University Announcement for March 6

Due to inclement weather, all Union campuses will be closed on Friday, March 6, with all classes canceled.

The wellness center will open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., and the aquatic center will be open from 1-3 p.m.

Friday's Preview Day has been canceled.

Brewer Dining Hall will be open from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lex will be closed. No breakfast will be served.
