JACKSON, Tenn. – April 23, 2001 – Union University students who participated in mission trips during the recent spring break Friday, April 20, at 10 am in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
More than 200 Union University students and faculty participated in the annual school-sponsored Global Opportunities (GO) Trips, traveling to places such as Honduras; Senegal; Hungary; North Africa; Arlington, Texas; Irving, Texas; Chicago, Ill.; Casper, Wyo; Hilton Head, S.C.; Greenville, S.C.; Naples, Fla.; and Jackson, Tenn.
“GO Trips help students develop a Christian worldview,” said Union’s director of student outreach, Suzanne Frost. “After you go on one of these trips, you look at the world differently.”

Due to inclement weather, all Union campuses will be closed on Thursday, March 5, with all day classes canceled.
A decision on evening classes at Jackson and Germantown will be made by noon on Thursday. Hendersonville evening classes are canceled.
The wellness center will open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., and the aquatic center will be open from 1-3 p.m.
