Union University’s education colloquium to focus on teaching mathematics in inclusive classrooms

JACKSON, Tenn.April 19, 2001 – Ann Singleton, department chair of education, will be speaking on “Preparing Elementary Pre-service Teachers to Teach Mathematics in Inclusive Classrooms,” as a part of the university’s Department of Education’s Colloquium Series, Monday, April 23 in BAC-43 at 4 p.m. in the Blasingame Academic Complex.

The colloquium series was started in the Spring of 1995 to serve as a venue for department members and selected graduate students to share current research and interests.

The lectures are offered at no charge, and all area college and high school teachers are invited to attend. For more information, contact Union’s Department of Education at (731) 661-5387.
