Senior third-baseman led the Bulldogs with a .380 batting average…also led team with 81 hits…his hitting ability is well known and documented selected second team All-Conference last season…has improved mobility and defense…can carry a team when he is hot...played with U.S. Athletes International in summer of 1999...led the team in hitting in his freshman season with a .426 average, in RBI with 78, in homeruns with 17, and in doubles with 26...earned TranSouth All-Conference honors as a freshman...set a new school record for Total Bases in a Season (162), Most Homeruns in a Game (3) and Most Doubles in a Season (26)...prepped at South Side High School where he was a three-sport athlete including baseball, cross country and golf...helped guide the Hawks to three district titles in 1996, 1997, and 1998...earned numerous honors including All-District, Best Offensive Player, District Most Valuable Player, All-District Tournament, and All-Region.
