Prepped at ECS in Memphis where he played baseball and football…won a football state championship in 2000 and a baseball region championship in 2001…finished second in the state in both 2000 and 2001…in his last three high school seasons, he was named all-region, all-state, and was an all-state pitcher as a senior.
