Before Union: Wall prepped at the University School of Jackson where he played four years of baseball for coach Brad Dyer. Wall was named all-region, all-state and all-tournament at the district level. He was also named to the TSWA All-State team as a senior. Wall his .441 with 41 runs, 54 RBI, six home runs as a senior. He posted a .494 on-base percentage, while slugging at a .678 clip.
