For Union Adrian Yeung scored two goals and Christopher Deegan added a goal for the Bulldog's three scores. Joe Phiri, Clovis Simas, and Josue Tuchez each added one assist. Union never led in the game and trailed by as many as four goals. However, midway through the second half, Union cut the Roberts lead to just two goals at 5-3, before Roberts sealed the game with a final goal. Roberts out shot Union 13 shots to 10. Robert Stinson gave up five goals on 11 shots and Jeff Lean gave up one goal on two shots for Union.
The Bulldogs will play again on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. versus the loser of the Piedmont College and Trinity Christian College.
