Asbury took the early lead with a goal in the first half. The 1-0 score stood until late in the game. With 18 seconds remaining, Union's Christopher Anthony, a former JCM standout, scored a goal to tie the game and send it to overtime. That was the boost that the Bulldogs needed as they won on a goal early in overtime by Clovis Simas to gain the 2-1 win.
Union will now play in the NCCAA National Tournament in Kissimmee, Florida on November 22-26. This will be the second trip to the NCCAA Nationals in three seasons for the Bulldogs.
