Union stretch their first half lead to 10 just before the half. Lyon scored four quick points to bring the halftime score to 42-36 Union. Union held on in the second half as they never trailed and with five minutes remaining in the game, Union had a 16 point lead. Union was led by Ben Frederick with 21 points, eight rebounds, and six blocks. Chima Abakwue added 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting from behind the arc. Bruno Martinessi added 14 points while Will Harris scored 13 points for Union. Lyon was led by Norris Weintz with 20 points and Jason Donaldson with 17 points.
