Union Women’s Soccer Signs Nashville Standout

JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/11/2008 - The Union University women’s soccer team has added Christina Reardon of Nashville to the roster for this coming fall. Reardon will enter Union as a freshman and will be majoring in Nursing.

Reardon, a 5-foot-2 mid-fielder, prepped at Pope John Paul II High School where she played four years of soccer. She helped lead her team to the 2005 Division II State Title. Reardon was named first team All-County, as well as, serving as Team Captain during her senior year. She also was earned third team All-County honors as a sophomore.

Union head coach Brandon Boylan says of Reardon, “Christina is a technically gifted soccer player. She possesses great vision and distribution skills and is able to play one and two touch soccer.” Boylan adds, “We feel blessed she has chosen Union University to continue her academic and athletic careers.”
