JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/23/2008 - The Union University men's soccer team posted their third straight win with a 2-1 victory at Asbury (Ky.) College. This marks the second straight win in which Union has rallied after trailing 1-0.
Union, now 8-5-2 on the season, trailed 1-0 at the half, but used goals from Rafa Rodriguez and Keven Bradley to rally for the win. Roriguez's goal came just four minutes into the second half, assisted by Hani Nyabam. The match remained tied at 1-1 until Bradley scored the match winner on a corner kick with just three minutes to play. The corner kick came from Union's Rafael Carvalho.
Up next for Union will be their final regular season game of the year, Thursday, October 6 at 7:00 pm when Union host Crichton (Tenn.) College.
