Union men’s soccer signs Brentwood native to 2009 roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/10/2009 - The Union University men’s soccer program continues to add players to their 2009 roster. The latest to ink with the Bulldogs is Evan Hare of Brentwood, Tenn. Hare will enter Union this fall as a freshman and will major in Biology.

Hare, a 5-foot-8 goalie, played four seasons of soccer for his home school team. He helped lead that team to the National Home School Tournament Silver Division Title in 2008 and 2009. Hare was named the team’s Most Valuable Player. Hare also spent two seasons playing soccer for the Brentwood Soccer Club. Off the field, Hare was an Eagle Scout. He also has earned a place on the Provost Scholar list at Union University.

Hare is the son of John and Shawn Hare of Brentwood and is a member of the Christ Community Church.
