Jackson North Side women’s soccer player signs with Union

JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/20/2009 - Jerri Anne Hopper of Jackson has signed to play her college soccer with Union University. Hopper will enter Union this fall as a freshman and will major in physical therapy.

Hopper prepped at North Side High School where she played three seasons of soccer for Coach Sherry Baldwin. She averaged two goals per game.

Brandon Boylan, Union’s head coach, says “Jerri Ann is an athletic player that has an unlimited ceiling of potential. We are excited about Jerri Ann getting to train on a regular basis and to see her game develop. She will add depth to our attack and we feel blessed that she has chosen Union as her college of choice.”

Hopper is the daughter of Steve and Melissa Hopper and is a member of Oakfield Baptist Church.
