JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/18/2011 - The Union (Tenn.) University men’s soccer team has been picked to finish third in the 2011 TranSouth Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Union finished last season with a 13-5-1 overall record while finishing in third place of both the TranSouth regular season and conference tournament.
Union also received votes in the NAIA Preseason Poll as they earned 29 votes to put them at No. 32.
Union has 38 guys on the roster this year, including varsity and junior varsity players. Of those 38 players, 25 are returning after playing either varsity or junior varsity last season.
