PULASKI, Tenn. - 11/15/2011 - The Union University softball has been selected as the favorite to win the 2012 TranSouth softball title. Union gained seven of the eight first place votes in the TranSouth Softball Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Union was also ranked No. 17 in the NAIA Softball Preseason Poll released on Tuesday.
Union finished runner-up last season in the TranSouth regular season and conference tournament. The Lady Bulldogs return their top three pitcher from last season, three starters on the infield and one outfield starter.
