GULF SHORES, Ala. - 5/18/2012 - The Union University softball team fell 3-0 to Indiana University-Southeast in the second day of play in Pool E of the NAIA Softball National Championships. Union goes to 1-1 in pool play and the loss eliminates Union from advancing to Monday’s bracket.
This was Union's 57th game of the season and was the first time all year that Union was held scoreless. This 3-0 loss snapped a 91-game streak for Union without being shutout.
