Jackson, Tenn. - 10/28/2003 - The Union University volleyball team has broken into the NAIA Top 25 rankings this week for the first time since the 2000 season. Union has been in the 26-to-30 range numerous times over the past few years since their No. 23 ranking in the preseason poll of 2000.

The Lady Bulldogs are currently 26-5 overall and 9-2 in the conference. At the present, they sit No. 2 in the TranSouth Conference standings, one game ahead of Trevecca Nazarene (8-3) with three conference games to play.

Of the five losses this season, three have been to NAIA Top 15 teams, twice to No. 13 Lee and once to No. 5 Dickinson State.
