GEORGETOWN, Tenn. - 11/4/2004 - Union University lost their first game of the year as they fell on the road to No. 8 Georgetown College (Ky.). No. 16 Union drops to 1-1 on the year, while Geogetown improves to 3-0.
Union trailed 48-19 at the half, but rallied to outscore the Tigers 46-32 in the second half. Union pulled to within 14 points but just couldn't bounce back from the 29-point deficit in the first half. Union committed 18 turnovers in the first half and managed to shoot only 21 shots (33%). However, in the second half, Union played like a much different team as they shot 51% and only turned the ball over five times.
In the game, Corey Burkett led Union with 18 points, including 13 points in the second half.
