JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/1/2005 - The No. 7 ranked Union University Lady Bulldogs advanced to the semifinals of the 2005 TranSouth Conference Tounament with a 99-67 win over Blue Mountain College (Miss.) at Union on Tuesday night. Union, the #3 seed in this tournament improved to 29-4 on the season, while Blue Mountain, the #6 seed, ends their season with a 10-15 record.

Monica Elliott tallied 11 points and Crystal Eason, a member of the 2005 TranSouth All-Freshman team, scored 10 points. Union made 11-of-38 (.289) three pointers as seven players tallied at least one. Witney Tate was 3-of-6 from three point range while Merideth Richardson and Crystal Eason were 2-of-6 each. Richardson joined Clark on the All-Conference first team. Ena Daniels, who tallied nine points and four boards, was named second team All-Conference.
