JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/11/2006 - The Union University men's and women's basektball teams will play their home games this afternoon as scheduled.
The decision to play was made early this (Saturdady) morning when both athletic departments spoke on the phone and determined that the roads were clear for Trevecca Nazarene to make the trip from Nashville to Jackson.
The No. 5 Lady Bulldogs will host No. 4 Trevecca Nazarene University (Tenn.) at 2:00 pm. The men's game will feature No. 5 Union hosting No. 12 Trevecca Nazarene at 4:00 pm.
For those not able to make the trip, you may listen to the games in West Tennessee on The Patriot 97.7 FM. Also, live internet audio and live stats are available from the Union University men's and women's basketball pages at www.uu.edu/athletics. Trevecca Nazarene will also have radio broadcast back to the middle tennessee area, including live audio from their team websites.
