JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/27/2006 - Chrissa Norton of Union University was named the TranSouth Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week. This honor was awarded for the week ending March 26.
Norton, a 5-foot-7 senior right-hander from Watertown, Tennessee recorded two of Union’s three wins on the week. In her two complete game victories on the week, she allowed just two earned runs and recorded 11 strikeouts. Union is 18-12 on the season and has yet to play a conference game.
On the season, Norton is 6-0 with a 2.51 ERA.
