JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/9/2006 - The Union University cross country teams opened their 2006 seasons with wins in the Skyhawk Classic held at the University of Tennessee-Martin.
In the men's race, Union posted the top three individual finishes with Douglas Martin winning the individual, just ahead of teammates Phillip Thompson and Seth Covington.
The women's meet finished much the same way with Union taking the three top spots and four of the top five spots. Union City native Jill Konkol took first place.
