McKENZIE, Tenn. - 1/13/2007 - The Union University Lady Bulldogs overcame a 12-point deficit to win 85-74 at Bethel College (Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the 10th ranked Lady Bulldogs improved to 11-4 overall and 2-2 in the TranSouth. Bethel fell to 11-3 on the season and 2-2 in the league.
Union posted their second straight win after dropping the first two conference games of the season. The Lady Bulldogs trailed by 12 points with two minute left in the first half. Union then continued their momentum to start the second half. Once Union took the lead, the Lady Bulldogs held the lead for the duration.
Up next for Union will be yet another road game on Monday, January 15 in Batesville, Arkansas at Lyon College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
