• David will play his senior season with the Bulldogs as a relief pitcher...as a junior, David played shortstop for Union...proved to have one of the best arms on the field...has worked with Coach Fronabarger and the pitching staff this offseason and should be a great addition to the bullpen.
  Before Union: David transferred to Union as a junior from Johnson County CC where he hit .303 and led the team with 8 sacrifices...prepped at Cookville HS...played baseball and football...named Freshman of the Year in baseball and won to gold gloves...named special teams player of the year in football...hit .440 with team high 13 stolen bases and a team hith 29 runs scored.

• Excellent athlete with the tools to be a superior shortstop…counted on to be the steadying influence in a young infield. Canary is a transfer form Johnson County Community College, where as a sophomore, he hit .303 and led the team with eight sacrifices. Canary prepped at Cookeville High School where he was a two sport star in baseball and football. As a freshman, Canary was named the Freshman of hte Year. He also won two Gold Gloves during his high school days as a middle infielder. His senior year at Cookville, he hit .450 with a team leading 13 stolen bases and 29 runs.
