• Coach’s Comments. Garrett is Union’s most versatile player. He plays first base, thrid base and pitcher. Garrett will spend the majority of his time at first base where he is improving defensively. Counted on to be a run producer in the middle of Union’s order. Garrett will also contribute on the mound where has has proved to be a big situation pitcher.
  Union Career. 2003...hit .377 with 7 doubles, 5 homeruns, and 31 RBI...also went 6-2 on the mound with a 3.40 ERA...37 strikeouts in 47.2 innings pitched...named to the All-Conference team. 2004...hit .293 with 7 doubles and 30 RBI...also went 3-3 with a 5.62 ERA...tallied 33 strikeouts in 57.2 innings pitched. 2005...DNP (Medical Redshirt)

2005 Men's Baseball

• Coach’s Comments. Garrett has come on as a very versital player for the Bulldogs. He had a very impressive freshman year were he played third base and also pitched. Garrett can play first base, third base, or catch as well as be a solid pitcher for the Bulldogs. He also provides a potent bat as a designated hitter.

• Garrett, now a sophomore for the Bulldogs, had a very impressive freshman year...was named to the TranSouth All-Conference team...played third base and also pitched...will be used as mainly a pitcher and designated hitter as a sophomore...hit .377 last year, good for second on the team...also hit 7 doubles, 5 homeruns, and drove in 31 runs....as a pitcher, Garrett went 6-2 with a 3.40 ERA...second on the team in ERA and wins...will contribute on offense as well as pitching...should be a weekend pitcher at some point in the near future...swings a potent bat that can't be ignored but will concentrate on pitching this season.
