Hobbies: snowboarding, wakeboarding, mountain biking, caving, climbing, and repelling
Before Union: Carpenter joined Union after being home schooled through Gateway Christian Schools. However, in his summer league soccer programs, Carpenter helped lead his team to the Division I State Title in 2004 and the Division II State Title in 2006.
