Hobbies: Sports, hunting, and hanging out with friends
Before Union: Nichols prepped at Christ Presbyterian Academy where he played four years of baseball and football. Nichols was named All-District his junior and senior seasons of baseball. He was named team captain his senior season of football. Nichols also excelled off the field as he was Senior Class Boys' Vice President, ATLAS and ATHENA Squad leader. Nichols was also named to the A/B Honor Roll. He earned the 2008 Biblical Principles Award and the 1 Timothy 4:12 Stand Tall Award.
