Leah is returning as a three-time NAIA All-American pitcher. She posted her career best ERA of 0.90 with a 24-8 record. Leah started 32 games and completed 25 with 10 shutouts. Following her junior year, she was named NAIA All-American, NCCAA All-American, NAIA Region XI and the TranSouth Conference Pitcher of the Year, along with first team All-Region and All-Conference. She was also named the NCCAA region Player of the Year. As a freshman and sophomore, she was named to the NAIA second team All-American, NCCAA first team All-American, first team All-Region, and first team All-Conference. As a freshman, Leah won a career high 29 wins in 2001 and ranked No. 12 in the NAIA with a 0.94 ERA.
Before Union: Prepped at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, TX where she played softball and basketball. She was a three-time All-district softball from 1998 thru 2000; District MVP in 1998, and three-time A&M Consolidated softball MVP from 1998 thur 2000. Leah was All-Brazos Valley softball (1998,99,2000); All-District basketball (1999,2000); A&M Consolidated Basketball Defensive Player of the Year (1999,2000); All-State Academic (basketball 1999, softball 2000).
