Jessica returns for her sophomore year after a very successful freshman season. She joined Union in 2003 as the first ever Jackson softball signee. As a freshman, Jessica hit .320 with six doubles and a team high five homeruns. She played the vast majority of the season at third base. She possesses a solid bat and glove with a very good arm.
Before Union: Jessica prepped at Jackson Christian School and is Union’ first ever softball recruit from Jackson. She led JCS to a district championship in 1999 and 2001, and a region runner-up finish in 2001. Named All-State and All-Tournament as a junior and senior and All-District in each of the five years of high school softball. Was all named the District MVP and Tournament MVP in 2001.
