Monica returns as another young talent for the Lady Bulldogs…she averaged three points and two assists per game as a freshman. Prepped at Memphis Ridgeway where her team compiled an overall record of 83-21 (3 years)…she averaged 14 ppg, six steals and five assists per game…Monica was a two sports star and led Ridgeway to the state championship in track…she won the state championship in the long jump and finished third in the 100-yard dash and fourth in the 200-yard dash…finished high school with a 3.4 GPA. She also played in the East/West All-Star game in 2001.
