#51 Josephine Owino
SR, 6-3,
Hometown: Mombasa, Kenya Previous School: Mombasa HS
Josephine is the best post player in the country. However, she has not reached her potential. She has improved a great deal over the summer. She has developed patience in the post, and developed even more intelligence in reading the defense. She continues to become a better leader.
Before Union: Owino played for Mombasa High School, where she was named MVP her sophomore through senior years. Owino was also a member of the Kenya National Team from 2000-2003.
