Over the last four years Merideth has demonstrated a unique ability to shoot the ball. She will go down in Lady Bulldog basketball history as one of the most electrifying shooters we have had. She expects her best effort in every circumstance and leads others to expect the same. She is a great teammate.

Before Union: Richardson prepped at Bradford High School where she played both basketball and softball. She averaged 24 points and seven rebounds per game as a senior while shooting .510 from the field and .760 from the free throw line. She was named the Tennessee Class A Miss Basketball as a junior and senior in high school. She is the first person at Bradford to win back-to-back Miss Basketball Awards.
