player information

#8 Amanda Hutchison Coyle
SR, 5-9
Hometown: Jackson, Tenn.
Previous School: Trinity Christian Academy

Coach’s Comments: Amanda is an outstanding player who is well rounded in her game. She provides a powerful attack and brings a great block to shut down opponents. She led the conference in blocks her sophomore year but was set back in her junior year due to injury. Amanda will look to rebound and provide the presence that she has had in years past.

Before Union: Amanda played at TCA. Over her career, Amanda earned three All-District and All-Tournament honors. In 2004, she was named District and Region MVP, District Player of the Year, and the Jackson Sun Player of the Year. Amanda holds four state records for kills in high school play.
