Grant Supports Research Conference
Nancy Easley, Ed.D., Associate Professor of Education, Germantown
March 1, 2010 - Dr. Nancy Easley received a Faculty Development Grant to begin a research conference to allow Union's graduate education students to present their research completed while in graduate education programs. The conference was named the Annual Regional Research Conference at Union University, Germantown Campus. Presenters include M.Ed., M.A.Ed., Ed.S. and Ed.D. students and graduate education alumni. Education faculty from Jackson and Germantown also presented.
The intended audience for the presentations were educators and legislators from the tri-state area of Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas. Attendess over the past 3 years have included private Christian school teachers and administrators, interested community members, and teachers from Memphis City Schools, Shelby County Schools, Desoto County Schools and Forrest City, Arkansas.
