March 12, 2014 - Dr. Dawn Tolbert, a graduate of Union University’s Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership degree program, continues to excel as an educator. Her recent submission of a paper to Christian Higher Education: An International Journal of Research, Theory and Practice has been accepted for publication. Her paper, An Exploration of the Use of Branding to Shape Institutional Image in the Marketing Activities of Faith-Based Higher Education Institutions, is scheduled for publication in the August 2014 issue of the related journal. The article is based on Dr. Tolbert's dissertation, which was completed as part of the requirements toward earning her Doctor of Education degree at Union University.
A resident of Cedartown, Georgia, Dr. Tolbert serves as Associate Vice President for University Communications at Shorter University in Rome, Georgia.
