History Honor Society Holds Its Ninth Annual Franco-American Bake Sale

Mar 20, 2013

Union’s Delta-Psi Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society held its Ninth Annual Franco-American Confection and Bake Sale on March 20, 2013. The chapter sold a variety of items, including croissants, dark chocolate mini cakes, Madeleine tea cakes, truffles, cupcakes, scones, pistachio/cranberry biscotti, brownies, cinnamon rolls, and cookies. The sale began near Barefoots Joe, then moved to the chapel foyer, and ended next to the Lexington Inn. Faculty, staff, and students from Union bought virtually everything that the chapter had for sale.

A number of students participated in the sale by providing baked goods, helping move the items from one sale location to another, or manning the sale tables. Students involved in one or more of these stages of the event were: Patricia Dawson, Allie Durham, Colton Gebben, Jeffrey Lewoczko, Will Miller, Grace Morriss, Shelby Pace, Mary Ellen Poe, Ginny Seger, Heather Stricklin, and Gracie Wise. Jeffrey supervised much of the sale by working uninterruptedly from 8:00 a.m. to close to noon.
