Background and Recent Activities
Dr. Penny's previous teaching stints include Tarrant County Junior College and Weatherford Junior College. As a Union faculty member, he presents recitals regularly. He sponsors study trips to professional opera performances in Memphis and Nashville, and is a regular teaching sponsor of Union's biennial Oxford (England) study tour. In January 2010, Dr. Penny served as visiting professor at the Baptist Seminary in Nigeria.
