Black History Month Symposium

February 27, 2013: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Carl Grant Events Center

This year’s Black History Month Symposium will be on Wednesday, Feb. 27th from 11:30am-12:30pm in the Carl Grant Events Center. The theme for the symposium is: From Every Tribe: A Dialogue on Church, Campus, and Community. Our guest panelists will be Pastor Bryan Loritts and Dr. John Bryson from Fellowship Memphis Church; a church seen by many as leading reconciliation efforts in the city of Memphis. Our facilitator will be Dr. Frank Anderson, Director of the A.Div Program and Associate Professor of Ministry and Missions at the Olford Center in Germantown. This promises to be a truly unique opportunity, and a special time on our campus as we come together to discuss and celebrate the beauty of diversity in Christ’s Church. Please RSVP to Esperanza Aguilar at eauilar@uu.edu or Matthew Marshall at mmarshall@uu.edu
