IT Helpdesk Relocated, Support Hours Added
The IT helpdesk has moved to a new location, effective January 29. Helpdesk staff are now available in the D-22 area of the Penick building on the Jackson campus. This move provides consolidated Helpdesk and ITCM support, centralizing student workers at one location. There will no longer be a helpdesk on the C hallway.
In addition, we have extended the Fall/Spring helpdesk hours. You'll be able to speak with a staff member or student worker during these hours.
Changes Made to C-1, C-2 and C-3 PC Labs
Two labs swapped; hallway entrances improve access
During Winter term, two PC labs were swapped to improve access for students. The computers and desks in the C-2 student lab were moved to C-1. The computers and furniture in the C-1 employee training lab were moved to C-2.
The relocation of the student lab now provides direct access for students from the main hallway in Penick. Additionally, students can now access the C-3 lab directly from the C hallway.
Helpdesk and ITCM Contacts Merged
You now have a 'one-stop-shop' for IT needs. Regardless of whether you're having a problem with a lab computer, need help with portal access, want to request media support for a student-group event or just have a question, the contact information below is all you need to know. We hope the changes we've made will alleviate any confusion that has existed in the past.
