Student E-mail Address Lookup - via WebAdvisor

There are three methods for employees to look up a student's e-mail address.

1. To look up Union e-mail addresses, in portal.uu.edu, on the red UU Resources menu, select UU Contact Directories & Pictures. Students' email addresses can be found in any of the directories posted after 9/1/2012. Employee email addresses can be found in the employee directory.

2. Staff who use the Ellucian UI software can use the NAE screen functions.

3. Faculty and a select group of approved 'advisor' staff can use WedAdvisor's Student Lookup feature on the Faculty Information page. This allows searching by entering a student's name. This process is described below with screen shots. The process can also be performed using WebAdvisor features in portal.uu.edu; the steps will be similar but the screens will look different.

• Go to webadvisor.uu.edu
• Click 'Log In' at the top right of the page
• Enter your Union username and password
• From the Main Menu, select Faculty



 

• From the Faculty Information list, select Student Lookup



 

• In the Advising Lookup box, type the name of a student and then click Submit



 

• You will be presented a list of potential matches for your name search. You may need to click the Next button to find the student for whom you are searching.


 

• When you find the student, click the Select button to the right of the name.


 

• From the Action menu beside the student's name, select View Student Profile.


 

• From the Student Profile screen, get the student's e-mail address.
