JACKSON, Tenn. – Aug. 22, 2006– The Union University art department and Potter’s Guild will host a ceramics and painting workshop Sept. 8.
Local potter Eric Botbyl and Nashville portrait artist Kelly Carter, both former Union University students, will present the workshop.
The event will last from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., with a break for lunch. A gallery reception will follow that evening at 6 p.m., with both artists’ work on display in the gallery until Oct. 9.
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 1-4 p.m.
