Blogger runs five-part interview with Dockery

JACKSON, Tenn.Jan. 25, 2007 – Union University President David S. Dockery is the subject of an interview by blogger Timmy Brister that is running every day this week.

In the five-part interview at Brister’s blog, Provocations and Pantings, Dockery addresses a variety of topics – including unity around the gospel, theological education and Christian higher education, the Southern Baptist Convention’s Cooperative Program, Calvinism, the environment and global warming, Union’s upcoming Baptist Identity Conference, worship and blogging.

Union University Announcement for March 5

Due to inclement weather, all Union campuses will be closed on Thursday, March 5, with all day classes canceled.

A decision on evening classes at Jackson and Germantown will be made by noon on Thursday. Hendersonville evening classes are canceled.

The wellness center will open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., and the aquatic center will be open from 1-3 p.m.

Friday's Preview Day has been canceled.
