JACKSON, Tenn. – Oct. 9, 2008 – C-SPAN’s 45-foot mobile production studio will visit Union University Oct. 14 as part of its first “Road to the White House” tour.
The bus is on tour to promote C-SPAN’s political coverage. Since its January 2007 launch, the bus has been to 43 state capitals and 195 schools, where 374 elected officials, 4,500 teachers and more than 40,000 students have been on board.
Students at Union will have the opportunity to tour the bus to learn about C-SPAN’s coverage of the presidential campaign and to have a first-hand look at the mobile production studio and media center.
The bus will be at Union from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and will be parked between the Watters and Grace residential complexes.
